dB Custom began in 2003 as a prescription lens Manufacturing Laboratory. In 2012 the Laboratory was moved to Steelpoort South Africa. We believed we had to evolve and specialized to produce Safety Polycarbonate Prescription Lens. Our high Impact frames and lens have stood the test time. Providing unmatched service to the mining sector.

Late 2013, We started a 3D designing division. This was later translated to 3D printed parts. This was the birth of dB Custom Made Hearing Protection. Being 3D printed our custom made hearing Protection Incorporates a sound filter that allows for clear communication in high noise areas. These In-Ear plugs provided 26dB sound attenuation , provide unmatched comfort and prevent fatigue.
